It can be used as a storage or backup device with fast... WebI'm able to comfortably fit the drive in my pocket. The best part of this product was the ease of use and the speed. All I did was plug it in my pro to the usb port and selected "use as a back up" on the pop up and then Time Machine will do it's thing. That's all you have to do!
