Web24 okt. 2016 · I believe, like the normal maps, you need to use the option 3D filter in Photoshop CS6 Extended (filters>3D) and select specular map or normal map from the items in that option list. My CS6 lacks 3D filter options, so I can't tell you how to do it myself, but YouTube has tutorials. Web13 sep. 2016 · I'm pretty sure gimp has a channels tab just like photoshop, so just make your specular and glossiness maps separatedly (or one derived from the other) and copy them into the appropiate channels. The blue channel is probably ignored but i'd say paint it black so the result looks green and red.
