WebFirst time doing a large full moon mosaic (only previously tried a 3 panel crescent moon one), and I'm fairly happy with the result! ... Autostakkert for stacking and Registax for wavelets. The panels were stitched in Microsoft ICE, and the final mosaic was edited in Photopea (mostly just cropping, curve adjustments, sharpening, etc) ... WebCloudy full moon. Zoom in! ~2,000 frames stacked out of ~18,000 (PIPP for preprocessing and culling frames, Autostakkert for culling more and stacking, Registax for wavelet processing on the stacked pic) Composited with a single overexposed glow/cloud shot (all done in Photopea, along with some other final adjustments) Enjoy!

WebFeb 27, 2024 · I've stacked larger video files than that with the 64-bit version of AutoStakkert! (perhaps up to 80GB). However, mine were mono files of the moon with a ZWO ASI183MM camera (20 mega pixels, 5496 x 3672). It does take a good while to process such large files and you need to use the latest 64-bit version of AutoStakkert!
